We create everything fresh from scratch on the premises every day. Our family welcomes your family to dine in the warm, quaint atmosphere of our dining room, or to place an order for take out.
We offer complete catering services for any type of event in Minnesota. We will take care of everything – we will design a menu customized for the event, provide a full bar and all of the necessary supplements – wait staff, linens, flatware, and more. We can provide for groups up to 600 with our catering services.

"The Little Venetian is a quaint little Italian restaurant nestled in a strip mall north of hwy 36 on Rice Street. I'm usually a bit weary of places located at a strip mall, but surprisingly to me, it has very good food! The style is similar to Culvers where you order first, take a number, then find a seat, and they'll bring out the piping hot food out to you. Even before the food comes out they offer you a bib. And if you accept one, they'll even tie it on for you! How's that for quality service? ...The large portions of pastas were all cooked perfectly and the sauce tasted good. Everyone said their meals were excellent and we left the place very full and not so sassy. For great homemade Italian food with friendly staff, I'd recommend trying out this place."

The restaurant is a small cafe, great for a small group outing. The catering service is by far the best service I have ever received... "There's a nice garden and some patio tables out in front of the restaurant. The food is good and the service is great. The price is also pretty good. I've had the Italian sausage, chicken alfredo, and the lasagna. They give you some good sized portions and they have plenty of sides too."

"Compared to what you'll get at trendier places, the Vitale recipes are pure comfort food. Creamy, gooey heaps of fettuccini with a modest dash of garlic, simple meat lasagna, and spaghetti with meatballs (practically extinct in the local Italian food scene) make up this old-fashioned menu. Sicilian hoagies make a tasty lunch. Pizzas come with thin, chewy crusts and a nice choice of toppings--zesty pepperoncini and Genoa salami are a delicious combo."
