We offer Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa Permit to Carry or “concealed and carry” Training courses along with a variety of handgun courses that focus on fundamentals suited to beginners as well as experienced shooters. Private group courses are also available upon request and can be taught at a location convenient for you.

Our Ethos

Midwest Carry Academy was founded upon the principle that every law abiding citizen should exercise their right to bear arms and acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become a responsible armed citizen. We want to provide individuals with the knowledge and training necessary to begin the process of becoming that responsible armed citizen. In order to better prepare students, Midwest Carry Academy offers a Permit to Carry, also known as Concealed and Carry class. In many states the belief is that the weapon needs to be concealed in order to carry however this can vary state to state so it is crucial to be educated on the laws of the state you carry in. This 5 hour course will cover everything from the fundamentals of shooting and safety to the legal aspects of carrying a concealed weapon and use of deadly force.
